Did you know that one of the most important tools for law enforcement to use in the case of a missing child is an up-to-date, good-quality photograph?

Local businesses are teaming up to offer local parents the opportunity to have Safe-T photo id cards made for their children. These cards feature an up to date image of your child as well as vital information and emergency contact numbers. On the reverse of the cards are the numbers and instructions of what to do if your child is missing.

When: May 15, 2010 Stop by between 9am-1pm

Where: Auburn Early Learning and Child Care Center (10185 Gottschalk Parkway in Auburn)

Why: It is vital to have up to date information on your child and well as a recent photo in the event they go missing. We will provide 3 copies of the card (one for each parent as well as the child). The card has emergency contact info in the event you need to be reached as well.

Who: All children are welcome to come and be photographed by New Direction Photography and have these vital cards made.

Cost: The cost is only $5. You will receive 3 ID cards in the mail in the weeks following this event. Checks can be made payable to: New Direction Photography
