New Direction Photography is endorsed by Ronnie Continenza of Kenston Schools

I am honored to have received such a wonderful letter of recommendation written by Ronnie Continenza of Kenston Schools:

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter of recommendation for Amanda Hrabak. I have been involved with professional photographers since 1998 in the role of webmaster for the Kenston High School Website, and involved with people for over half a century. I am not sure who said it, but I have lived my life by the saying, “Find a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life.” I am convinced Amanda has found something she loves and happens to be making a living with it.

Amanda has been giving back to the Kenston community. She has cheerfully volunteered to take photographs of various Kenston events, and supplied the images on CD the next day for posting on the Kenston Website. I have been impressed with her natural photographer’s eye and the quality of her images. I have photographed some of the same events alongside Amanda, and after looking at her images said to myself, “Wow- how did she get such great shots?” Putting yourself in the right position to capture the moment is an art, and I have learned from Amanda’s natural ability to be in the right spot. Taking the time to capture, edit, and share her images with our community exhibits her love for preserving ‘priceless’ moments, and her willingness to give back to the community.

On a personal note, I find taking portraits is more difficult than action shots. Amanda has distinguished herself as one of the best portrait photographers in the state of Ohio by being honored with the prestigious Ohio Court of Honor Award.

In conclusion, Amanda is a self-motivated, hard working individual that sets high goals for herself and works hard to achieve them. She has a professional attitude toward her work, and realizes every image she captures is someone’s priceless moment. Amanda is one of the rare individuals blessed with doing what she loves, and I guarantee you will be impressed with her work.
