Thank you Lynn, for such a wonderful letter. It has been a privilege photographing your kids and the many people you referred to my studio!
Lynn's letter of recommendation:
Dear Sir or Madame,
I am recommending Amanda Hrabak, president/owner and photographer of New Direction Photography, located at 11800 E. Washington St., Chagrin Fall, Ohio 44023, (440) 708-0965, for all your photography needs.
I have known Amanda for 3 years and I have nothing but respect for her and her work. My son had his senior pictures taken by Amanda, 2 years ago and now my graduating senior also had her senior pictures taken by Amanda. Amanda’s work is beautiful and she makes all her subjects at ease while photographing them.
I have recommended Amanda to all my friends who have seniors at Solon High School and as of this writing; Amanda has taken 17 Solon senior pictures.
Amanda is a fine young lady and a good professional photographer.
Our family is extremely happy with Amanda’s work and her prices cannot be beat.
Sincerely,
Lynn Ptak

New Direction Photography is endorsed by Ronnie Continenza of Kenston Schools
I am honored to have received such a wonderful letter of recommendation written by Ronnie Continenza of Kenston Schools:
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter of recommendation for Amanda Hrabak. I have been involved with professional photographers since 1998 in the role of webmaster for the Kenston High School Website, and involved with people for over half a century. I am not sure who said it, but I have lived my life by the saying, “Find a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life.” I am convinced Amanda has found something she loves and happens to be making a living with it.
Amanda has been giving back to the Kenston community. She has cheerfully volunteered to take photographs of various Kenston events, and supplied the images on CD the next day for posting on the Kenston Website. I have been impressed with her natural photographer’s eye and the quality of her images. I have photographed some of the same events alongside Amanda, and after looking at her images said to myself, “Wow- how did she get such great shots?” Putting yourself in the right position to capture the moment is an art, and I have learned from Amanda’s natural ability to be in the right spot. Taking the time to capture, edit, and share her images with our community exhibits her love for preserving ‘priceless’ moments, and her willingness to give back to the community.
On a personal note, I find taking portraits is more difficult than action shots. Amanda has distinguished herself as one of the best portrait photographers in the state of Ohio by being honored with the prestigious Ohio Court of Honor Award.
In conclusion, Amanda is a self-motivated, hard working individual that sets high goals for herself and works hard to achieve them. She has a professional attitude toward her work, and realizes every image she captures is someone’s priceless moment. Amanda is one of the rare individuals blessed with doing what she loves, and I guarantee you will be impressed with her work.

New Direction Photography is Endorsed by the Geauga County Fair
After my first few months of business, I am flattered to have become the photographer of choice to so many of you! I have truly enjoyed photographing everyone! I have recently received letters of recommendations from clients and community members.
Here is the letter of recommendation that was received from the Geauga County Fair:
On behalf of the directors of the Geauga County Fair, it is my pleasure to to endorse and recommend Ms. Amanda Hrabak of New Direction Photography.
Amanda has been involved with taking photographs at the fair for several years. In 2009 she was hired as the official fair photographer. She handled the annual event better than anyone previously. She was available at every show and activity. Her photographs were of outstanding quality and her presence was extremely professional as she blended in with any event.
I would recommend Amanda for any event or photography need.
